MY JOURNEY

My career has been anything but linear—it's been a squiggly path shaped by diverse experiences in music journalism, academia, agency work, and consulting.

This variety of experiences has made me a more empathetic and adaptable strategist, allowing me to approach problems from multiple angles and understand different perspectives.

  • Music Journalism and Cultural Insights:
I started my career as a music and cultural journalist, where I learned how to understand audiences and identify trends before they hit the mainstream.

  • Academic Foundation:
I hold a Bachelor’s in Communication and Cultural Management with a focus in Sociology, and a Master’s in Anthropology. Both degrees have given me a deep understanding of human behavior, culture, and how to craft narratives that matter.

  • Consulting and Strategy:
My thesis on Millennials (2013) in Germany turned into consulting work that allowed me to guide companies and brands through generational workplace shifts this has taught me very early in my career how to bring people along on the journey of change.

“I believe that today’s challenges don’t fit neatly into a box, and neither do I”
